We blinked and July sprinted by, but at least we’ve still got August! (And for those of you in southern California, cheers to the very beginning of local’s summer.)

If you’re new here, I send these recap emails out on the last day of each month as a way to share the things that this awesome community has told me they’ve found helpful, and also to let you in on things that are coming your way in the next few months. I know you’re busy and I realize I put out a lot of content in a bunch of different places, so if you’re ever worried about missing anything, rest assured that the monthly recap will have all the important stuff in it.

What y’all got on the tube?

As much as I love IG, it can be a bit of a ragebait shitshow. I think we can use that whackness as a reminder to get off of our phones for just a little bit, and get into our communities. If you’re looking for ways to help out in your community, one of the easiest things to do is call your local foodbank and see what they need donated and/or need help with. The only way out is through, and the only way through is together.
