Whatup Reader!

Despite the subject line, this email has nothing to do with actual babies.

Fun fact for those of you who don't know: I was a pelvic floor physical therapist for a good, solid 5 years of my physical therapy career. It's actually what set me down the path of learning about pain science and visceral mobilization, and is how I somehow found myself in an ice bath at an event in LA with like 500 people and an IG video that went viral. But that's a story for another day.

Today, I'm just going to be a good business owner and do something that I don't do all that often: promote my services.

It’s October, which means that folks are starting to think about next year and what they want things to look like. I know this not because the items have changed over in my local CVS (they be doing the absolute most over there), but rather because I've had an increased number of Maestro Meetings over the past few weeks.

For those of you that don't know, Maestro Meetings are 90-minute (yes, I bumped them up from 60 minutes to 90 minutes earlier this year because they were all going that long anyway 🤷🏽‍♂️) one-on-one deep dives where I answer all your questions, solve all your problems, make all the decisions for you, and send you off with action items and a game plan. No, but really, that's exactly how it goes.

I've always been quite fond of the one-off session model (if you’ve been thinking about trying it, DO IT), and so I figured why not promote them now? There's a good chance that, if you’re like most of the business owners in my ecosystem, you're starting to think about next year. Perhaps even more so than that, if you're riding the same wavelength as so many of us, there’s a good chance you’re starting to think about change in the business: a new offer, a new service, or perhaps even a new direction altogether. Puhlease know that when the Universe is Universe-ing, you're not alone.

This isn't a scarcity email to say that I only have one spot left or anything like that. I have availability and I want to make sure that you know about it.

If you want some help with Q4 planning, Black Friday/holiday planning, 2027 planning, product suite restructuring, that new idea, that new direction, that new offer, the messaging, the structure, the delivery method, the timing, the pricing, the deliverables, the logistics, where to start, what to prioritize, what to lean into, how to market it, or how exactly to launch it, sign up for a Maestro Meeting and let midwife Maestro help you bring your baby into the world.

All righty, that's all for today. No lesson, just a reminder of my services and a reminder to promote your own.

Happy Tuesday, Reader.

Maestro out.

Read time: 3 min 17 sec Whatup Reader! A few years ago, my best friend Jill shared a quote with me, passed on to her by her ex-husband: "Easy is earned." I loved the quote then, and I still love it now, but as with all things (or at least all things in my brain), I like to pressure test it from time to time by seeing how many different scenarios it holds true in. I think that the quote is 100% spot on when it comes to skill acquisition, and given that my brain naturally views things in terms...

Read time: 1 min 35 sec Whatup Reader! Y’all know I stay on Instagram, feeling no kind of way about the amount of time I spend scrolling through my meticulously curated algorithm. Last week I got served a Reel from a beach volleyball creator (can’t find the Reel, can’t remember her name, apologies to the woman whose Reel inspired this email that she will never read), and she said something along the lines of, “Playing more is making you worse.” A bit of a gut-punch, but she’s right. Hear me...

Read time: 3 min 09 sec Whatup Reader! Where my Observant Olivia’s at?! If that’s you then you know I’m 24 hours late for my usual end of the month recap email. I typically send this email out on the last day of each month, but decided to bump it back a day so that it could do double duty and also serve as my weekly Maestro Mail email that drops every Tuesday. Just one of the many perks of running your own business. If you’re new here, I send these recap emails out as a way to share the...
