Rage Walking

Whatup Reader!

Sometimes you just gotta walk and talk it out.

Last Thursday and Friday I cohosted the 5th LEGACY Live event, with my bestie, JillFit.

We make it a point to give our folks an hour and a half lunch break so that they can rest their brains, move around, get outside (hush up those of you who have only ever seen rain when visiting LA 🤫🤦🏽‍♂️), and basically do anything than sit in the room and stare at their computer screen.

There were about 15 minutes left in our Friday lunch break when I went outside to go check out the seals and get some fresh air. At that same time, a group of four of our LEGACY ladies were walking back towards the hotel entrance, looking like they were on a mission.

All they said to me, “Convo got political. We just raged walked.”

Yes. All the yes.

Sometimes you just gotta walk and talk it out.

Am I going to use this as an opportunity to remind you about the Mafia dinner going down tomorrow, January 29th, at 4pm PT? Absolutely.

It’s FREE99 and you can use the button below to reserve your spot.

There’s no obligation to join the Mafia if you come to dinner, I’m just out here trying to help folks talk it out while also showing them that online business groups don’t have to suck and can actually be quite dope.

If Zoom dinners ain’t your thing, all good, just make sure you’re talking it out with someone. Heavy emphasis on the ‘with someone’ part.

These innanet streets are littered with “hot takes” that honestly shouldn’t have left the friend group.

Sharing is cathartic. Being heard is cathartic. Being in community with people is cathartic.

Word vomiting onto Threads is at best, terrible, and at worst, harmful.

Grab a friend and walk and talk it out.

If you need a friend, come to dinner. If you’ve already saved your spot, can’t wait to chat and chew.

Happy Tuesday, Reader!

Maestro out.

Do the thing.

Read time: 2 min 0 sec Whatup Reader! If you have the opportunity to lean into community, say yes. If you don't have that opportunity, create it. This past weekend, Lex and I were fortunate enough to have a completely full dining room table (so full that we actually had to bring in the two chairs that we typically have out on the patio). Our dinner table was full, our hearts were full, our bellies were full, and needless to say, our schedules were full. Community involves people, people have...
