Write it down

Whatup Reader!

We're keeping this one short and sweet today, and not just because It’s mid-December and I don’t feel like doing shit. We're keeping this one short and sweet because I want to make sure there’s no fluff to confuse you, no extra words to distract you, and basically zero reasons for you to not take action.

My soft suggestion action item for you:

Write down exactly how you’re feeling right now.

How much work you want to be doing, how much tv you’d rather be watching, how cold you are, how much you want to punch yourself for agreeing to squeeze in that extra patient, how stressed you are, how ready you are to be done with everything once the sun goes down at 3:59pm.

Write. It. Down.

From there, go to your calendar for next year and adjust what you need to adjust.

If you need to block off your schedule, block it off now.

If you need to put in for PTO, put it in now. (Clearly I actually have no idea how that shit works so do whatever needs to be done so that you can have your time off next year.)

If you need to schedule more clients or launches at other times of the year so that you can have time to rest come December, open up those slots now.

If you planned and prepared for this season and you're feeling great now, CLAP FOR YOUR DAMN SELF.

Seasonality is very real, spirality is very real, and you will very much be feeling the exact same way this time next year…so make moves now.

If you’ve been in my ecosystem for basically any amount of time then you’ve likely heard me say this a bunch, but a bunch never, so I’m saying it again.

Write it down and then take action.

Alright, das all I got for you.

Happy Monday, Reader.

Maestro out.

Do the thing.

Read time: 1 min 58 sec Whatup Reader! Before I hop into today musing I gotta share that after I sent out last week’s email and mentioned my distaste for the idiom “kill two birds with one stone”, a few of you hit me back and shared that you use the phrase “feed two birds with one stone”. Y’all truly are the best. Speaking of the best, today I want to share a question I received in the DMs from one of my very best good homies. I absolutely love this question and it got me thinking about...my...

Read time: 1 min 57 sec Whatup Reader! I am zero percent ashamed to admit that stay scrolling IG, and that’s largely because I’ve curated a feed that makes me want to be on there. For those wondering, my for you search page thing is basically home renovation DIY accounts, volleyball, and golf accounts. No, I don’t play golf but I find the content that some folks create about it really fun to watch. Anyway, as is the case with Instagram, the majority of the content on my feed is recommended...
