Write it down

Whatup Reader!

We're keeping this one short and sweet today, and not just because It’s mid-December and I don’t feel like doing shit. We're keeping this one short and sweet because I want to make sure there’s no fluff to confuse you, no extra words to distract you, and basically zero reasons for you to not take action.

My soft suggestion action item for you:

Write down exactly how you’re feeling right now.

How much work you want to be doing, how much tv you’d rather be watching, how cold you are, how much you want to punch yourself for agreeing to squeeze in that extra patient, how stressed you are, how ready you are to be done with everything once the sun goes down at 3:59pm.

Write. It. Down.

From there, go to your calendar for next year and adjust what you need to adjust.

If you need to block off your schedule, block it off now.

If you need to put in for PTO, put it in now. (Clearly I actually have no idea how that shit works so do whatever needs to be done so that you can have your time off next year.)

If you need to schedule more clients or launches at other times of the year so that you can have time to rest come December, open up those slots now.

If you planned and prepared for this season and you're feeling great now, CLAP FOR YOUR DAMN SELF.

Seasonality is very real, spirality is very real, and you will very much be feeling the exact same way this time next year…so make moves now.

If you’ve been in my ecosystem for basically any amount of time then you’ve likely heard me say this a bunch, but a bunch never, so I’m saying it again.

Write it down and then take action.

Alright, das all I got for you.

Happy Monday, Reader.

Maestro out.

Do the thing.

Read time: 2 min 6 sec Whatup Reader! Don’t assume they know. Don’t assume that who knows what? Don’t assume that anyone knows anything. I’m still over here hanging out with my new bestie, ChatGPT, and the more I use it, the more I value what it can teach us about communicating with each other: Don’t assume that anyone knows anything. Ya’ll know that when I’m into something I go all in, which for this looks like podcasts, newsletters, long ass YouTube videos, and subreddits. Real talk, the...

Read time: 4 min 32 sec Whatup Reader! I wrote the email below this past Sunday while cleaning the house with Lex and listening to a podcast about ChatGPT. It be like that sometimes. When the Muse hits, I listen, and what we created is perhaps a bit…sharper than some of my other emails, but it’s my whole truth, so I’m sharing it. As always, take what serves you and leave the rest. Real quick before we get into it, as promised, I put together a list of the charitable organizations that you...

Read time: 2 min 56 sec Whatup Reader! Summer is coming, ya’ll! If you’re new here, I send these recap emails out on the last day of each month as a way to share the things that this awesome community has told me they’ve found helpful, and also to let you in on things that are coming your way in the next few months. I know you’re busy and I realize I put out a lot of content in a bunch of different places, so if you’re ever worried about missing anything, rest assured that the monthly recap...
